Orange pumpkin glow! She looks a lot like her daddy here and I want to smooch her through the screen, love her so!
We call this her old lady smile. With four top teeth coming through, she likes to pull her lips in, not sure why but it must feel good. Got to love that October light, so bright with lots of contrast.
Wallis and one of her buddies. Every day she points and waves to the dogs over and over again as she makes her way towards them. She is obsessed with her doggies and they’re obsessed with Cheerios falling from her high chair, which she loves to offer them. She even makes sure they both get the same amount.
Grass is serious business.
Olive joined in at the end, when we were picking up to go, because that’s just how she likes to do things. Pretty sure she’s contemplating Cheerios here.
Halloween was a serious bust around here. I didn’t get a costume made on time, and so I ordered one and it still hasn’t arrived. All I wanted to do was at least make pumpkin carving a success. I laid out the paper, got the pumpkin, put Wallis in an old shirt of mine for all the pumpkin joy she was surely going to have and got ready to snap some amazing pictures…it was then that her dad pulled the top of the pumpkin off to start digging inside, and she freaked out. Serious meltdown and by the end of it…I was carving the pumpkin alone inside our house on our dryer.
Seconds before epic meltdown…
